For Boys and Girls Age 3 through Grade 6.
Every Monday from 6:30-8:30 pm mid-September through May.
Grace Bible Baptist Church has a strong commitment to the AWANA Club program. Over 25 years ago, Pastor Johnson felt a burden for our youth and, under his direction, the AWANA program was brought to Grace. AWANA is an international, Bible-centered youth ministry with the goal of reaching boys and girls age 3 years through 6th grade (and their families) with the Gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him. AWANA is an acronym from II Timothy 2:15, “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.” AWANA presents an opportunity for children to establish a relationship with God and, through Scripture memory, to grow spiritually, build self-esteem, and develop good relationships with others.
Parents assist their children in this growth by encouraging them to learn the verses in their AWANA handbook and by sharing joy in the awards they earn. Feel free to visit the club meeting any Monday evening. Parents are encouraged to talk with us about any special concerns or questions. It is our desire to minister to the entire family and not just the children.
At every club meeting, boys and girls recite verses they have memorized, listen to a message from God’s Word, and play games. There are annual camping trips in April. Each AWANA Club meeting is an exciting time – so kids, come on out for an action-packed evening centered around Christ.
We pray you are all doing well. Please continue working with your clubber on memorizing God’s Word. Call Mrs. Boshoven @ 443-685-4875 with questions.

Spring and Fall Festivals
These two wonderful seasonal outreach events have become popular not only in our church, but in the community as well. The seasons allow us the opportunity to reach out into the community with these free events to display the wonderful different ministries in our church for families. Every festival has a gospel message that highlights God's love for each person there. Each event is free and shows the community our love for them as Christ loves them. God has richly blessed the church through these ministries. Children look forward to these events annually.
DAILY VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Daily Vacation Bible School is a once a year wonderful week of teaching children and teenagers about God's amazing Word. The week at the end of June is broken into two time slots for two different age groups. Children (age 3 through Grade 5) meet in the morning from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and teens (Grades 6 - 12) meet in the evening from 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Each age group has a fun time singing and learning about God's rich love for them through His son Christ. The goal of the entire week is twofold: First - that each child would have a relationship with God through trusting Jesus Christ as their Savior, and Second - that we would reach out into the community and be a blessing to those around us.
