We are excited that this will be the fifth year of our ministry moms raising children in the Home and Moms to be called It’s 4uMom! Our group meets the first Monday of each month (October through May) from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the church fellowship hall. We gather young moms and mentor moms together to discuss pertinent topics of interest, speakers sharing spiritual insights to help in raising your children, we provide snacks/meal, crafts, door prizes: it’s a free night out for moms to hang out together. AWANA club is provided to care for your children while you attend, ages 3 years through 6 grade. You do not have to be a member of Grace to join us. Our topics have included Breast Cancer Awareness, Thanksgiving and Christmas traditions, words from a Pediatrician, Cake Decorating, Nutrition, Love and Marriage, Self Defense ,Financial Freedom, Fitness and Spa nights and more. Sounds great doesn’t it? Come join us. We are establishing friendships in a fun atmosphere and have a special camaraderie as moms meet together.
We hope to continue to build relationships through our common interests and concerns that moms have on a daily basis. We want to be able to show the love the Christ and meet the needs of moms in the community through this exciting program. Hope to see you the First Monday of each month, October through May. The vision for the men’s ministry, Men of Grace, is to create a place where men of God can come together for spiritual growth, study and fellowship.
Our meetings include guest speakers, Bible study, prayer, and a coffee fellowship. The men also meet several times a year for a Men’s Prayer Breakfast, which includes special speakers, study, and prayer served with a full breakfast.
Check our Events Calendar for meeting dates, or call the church office for more information.
All for One … Won for All!
Mrs. Donna Block
Donna Block teaches the Ladies Bible Study at Grace Bible Baptist Church. The ladies meet on Tuesday mornings from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, September through May. It is a sweet time of testimonies, singing, studying God's Word and praying together. All ages are welcome to attend. The Bible Study attendance usually averages about 35 ladies. Donna loves to study and present the Word. Donna was saved here at Grace at the age of 22. She loves spending time with her husband Mark, 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Her son is a Pastor in Cincinnati and her daughters are actively involved in their churches. Come and enjoy this rich time of fellowship.

Grace Bible Baptist Church Single Women’s ministry meets on the third Saturday of each month.
The group was formed out of a vision to meet specific needs of unmarried ladies and also those ladies who are alone in their commitment to live for Christ. While this ministry is not a Bible Study Group, our focus and attention is always on honoring our Savior, Jesus Christ. The goals of the ministry are:
- To grow spiritually by reading God’s Word, seeking His will and being obedient to His will.
- To commit every area of our lives to the Lord.
- To be faithful prayer partners for one another.
- To encourage each other in the faith.
- To be a good friend and sister in Christ.
- To be of help whenever there is a need.
- To be a good witness for Christ and a blessing to someone every day.
Some of our activities to enhance Christian growth include: sponsoring women’s prayer breakfasts, conferences, social activities, dinners, theater, and outings to restaurants and member’s homes for fellowship.
This past year we continued to meet our ministry’s mission to reach out to single women as friends and sisters in Christ. Our goal is to be supportive and an encouragement to women striving to live godly Christian lives.
The Single Women for Christ Ministry is host to the Annual Women’s Prayer Breakfast. This event is always well attended. Along with the delicious breakfasts, our special speakers have been an encouragement and blessing each year.
The group’s greatest accomplishments have been, through God’s grace, to be able to minister to needs and show the love of Christ in real and practical ways. Whenever we are together, whether for a meeting or for social events, we always ensure that Jesus Christ is our primary focus.

The Seniors for Christ at Grace Bible Baptist Church is a ministry of men and women over 50 years of age who love the Lord.
We meet together the second Saturday of each month for a time of devotions, service, and fellowship. At the beginning of the year, activities are planned for the entire year. Over the years, our ministry has expanded to include the following activities:
- Visits to the residents in the Catonsville Commons Nursing Home every other month for Bible study and individual visitations where the Word of God is preached to the residents in their dining hall; a time of food and fellowship follows the services; on some visits, crafts made by seniors are presented to the residents
- A card ministry to the sick, shut-ins, and those who have lost loved ones
- Praying for and writing to the missionaries supported by Grace Bible Baptist Church
- Praying for, writing to, and sending care packages to college students
- Hosting the annual Thanksgiving Dinner and the annual summer picnic for the older saints of the church and the church staff
- Supporting the Christian Community Center
The Lord has really blessed our ministry over the years. We have seen the Lord strengthen us spiritually, and we have seen His hand in our lives individually and collectively. We thank the Lord for each one who has helped us further the cause of Christ through this ministry, and we look forward to another year of service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
