Hi, my name is Debbie Beyer, and I am Grace Bible Baptist's Kindergarten
teacher. I am very excited to be involved in this school ministry because
Grace is where I graduated from, and I have attended the church since I
was a baby. I received my Bachelor's of Elementary Education degree at
Pensacola Christian College. I love Grace Bible Baptist School and the
people here so very much, and I am very thankful to be a part of this
wonderful ministry.
My theme for my classroom this year is rainbows. I want
my students to come into a place that is very warm, exciting, and bright!
The rainbow is a symbol of God's promises to us, and teaching my students
about God and the great and mighty things that he has done for us is the
main goal of my teaching career. We do not just learn about God during
Bible time, but also during all of the other subjects as well. God is a
part of everything we do, and helping my students to realize this is
crucial to helping them along in their spiritual walk.
We have a wide variety of subjects in Kindergarten such
as: Bible, Math, Phonics, Writing, History, Science, and Reading. I like
to use the ABeka Book Curriculum for all of my subjects, except for Bible
in which we use Bob Jones University Press.
I hope that you enjoy viewing my classroom and the many
things that we do. Our class verse is Philippians 4:13: I can do all
things through Christ which strengtheneth me. As long as God is on our
side, we can accomplish anything! Enjoy our class pictures!
