Grace Bible Baptist
Elementary School
6th Grade

I am Mrs. Sun. I came from Mainland
China. My husband and I got saved after we came to the U. S and we
responded to God’s calling to serve Him full time. Both of us graduated
with a Masters Degree from Capital Bible Seminary. Now we serve the Lord
together at Huntingdon Chinese Baptist Church in Baltimore. We have two
children who attend Grace: Lemuel (8th grade), and Heather (4th
grade).
As a Christian counselor and teacher, my goal
is to make disciples for our Lord Jesus. It is wonderful to see the children
grow spiritually, academically and socially.

Today, we are proud of Grace. Tomorrow, Grace will be
proud of us.

Five Tools to Strengthening My Teaching Ministry
Bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4)
Tool # 1: Dedication: Developing Spiritual Power.
We learn how to become a more godly person.
Paul expended energy throughout his entire epistle teaching us to develop
our character.
Tool # 2: Discernment: Applying Godly Wisdom.
This is our study time. We examine everything we learn through a biblical
perspective.
Paul consistently emphasizes the complexity of life and the necessity of
wisdom.
Tool # 3: Devotion: Building Loving Relationships
- We learn how to bridge the gaps in order to powerfully fill up our
children’s emotional tanks with the fuel of grace.
Tool # 4: Discipleship: Instilling Wisdom
In Ephesians 6:4, Paul provides the category of instilling wisdom through
moral instruction. We’ll learn the single, most important, time-tested
principle for passing on the torch of TRUTH.
Tool # 5: Discipline: Driving Out Foolishness
Discipline: Training the heart in right relating.
Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child
(Prov. 22:15). God disciplines our hearts to train us in righteousness
through consequences (Heb.12:5-13).
May the grace of God be with you and have a wonderful year.
