Grace Bible Baptist Elementary School
WELCOME TO OUR FOURTH GRADE

Yes, that's
me!
I am Mrs. Baxley, and I enjoy the privilege of teaching here at Grace.

TESTIMONY:
A miraculous thing happened in my life when I was only
eight years old. I was away at a Christian camp. It was there
that I heard the wonderful gospel message of how Jesus took my place on
Calvary. He willingly gave His life so that I could have eternal life.
I can still remember walking down the sawdust aisle of the meeting hall to
receive Christ as my personal Savior.
That was many years ago. Many things have
happened in my life since then, but God has been faithful. His promise
to us is that He will never leave us nor forsake us. What a blessing
to know that when there are times we feel alone, God is always there!
SCHOOL YEAR:
An exciting year awaits those entering Fourth
Grade. Preparations have been made, rooms have been completed, and
prayers have gone up daily.
Our goal this year is to become more like Christ.
The classroom has been decorated in insects. The bee is a social
insect working with one another to survive. It must nurture the young
to maturity. We, as Christians, must be united in "one accord" working
together. The ladybug is an insect that is very helpful to farmers.
It eats the aphids that would destroy their crops. We could say the
ladybug is a friend to the farmer. We want to learn to work well with
one another and to be friendly.

OUR CLASS VERSE:
Our key verses this year are found in the book of
Proverbs:
Proverbs 6:6-8
"Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways,
and be wise: which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provideth her
meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest."

OUR CLASS MOTTO:
The class motto for the year is:
Be to

Everyone
an
Example
of Christ.
PREPARATIONS:
As you prepare for the school year, here are some
things you can do that will help you to become more like Christ.
1. DAILY search to see if there is sin you need
to confess, then CONFESS it!
2. DAILY pray and seek God's will for your life,
then OBEY!
3. DAILY read God's Word to see what promises He
has for you, then CLAIM them!
4. DAILY seek someone to share the gospel with,
then SHARE it!

INSECT PROJECTS

Jade and Mikun display their "creepy" crawlers.

No, you're not seeing double. Margaret and Josie proudly show
their projects.

Maya and Michelle worked hard capturing and mounting their insects.

Mathew and Courtney show the results of their hard work. No,
Courtney, the bug did not move. You may look up now.

Kaylin and Tarila each had a colorful insect project.

Jamal and Jazmin went the extra distance to be creative with their
displays.

Kayla added leaves to show where her insects might have been.

The class is busy finishing their work.

After our written work, Jade and Margaret will be able to
do their oral report.
The class enjoyed reporting on the
insect they had chosen to research.
Fourth grade, your teacher is
PROUD of each of your efforts and accomplishments on the insect
project.
