Grace Bible
Baptist
Elementary School
Third Grade

Hello, my name is Miss Layton.
I teach third grade at
Grace Bible Baptist School.
MOTTO FOR THE THIRD GRADE CLASS THIS YEAR:
"Ye are the Light of the World"...

I chose this motto because we need to be witnesses
for God wherever we are. We are the reflection of Jesus Christ to
this world. We need to shine for Him and tell others about Him.
I want my third graders to understand that they can be a witness to others,
and that even as young as they are, God can use them.
MY TESTIMONY / BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
I grew up in a Christian home and was saved at the age of six. I
always was involved in church, whether it was Junior Church, Youth Group,
Choir or Nursery. I attended Christian schools growing up, so it was
only obvious that I would also attend a Christian college. I chose
Bob Jones University because of its commitment to stand for the truth of
God's Word and for its academics. While there, I learned so much
from many people, not only academically, but spiritually as well. I
graduated from Bob Jones University in 2002, with a degree in Practical
Christian Training. This degree allows me to teach in the elementary
grades. I have taught first, third, and fourth grades. I have
the experience necessary to educate your children, both in the academic
and Spiritual areas. I look forward to working with all my parents
and teaching the third grade here at Grace. I can's wait to see what
the year has in store for us all!
