Thanks for clicking on our website.  

I'm Reverend Aaron Finley and I love three things:  Christ, my wife and young people.  Jesus is the greatest friend and person anyone could know.  That's what we're all about here at Grace - Jesus Christ.

I've been here at Grace Bible Baptist Church for five years now and have been loving every minute of it.  My beautiful wife, Sandra Finley, teaches the fifth grade at our school and I teach high school.  Being a servant of Jesus Christ is the BEST.   

II Timothy 1:12

Teaching is a big part of the ministry here at Grace.  One thing that Pastor Johnson strongly teaches us men of the staff is the priority of the Word of God.  The Word says, "We are to worship in spirit and in truth."  So many ministries today are getting derailed by music and feel-good emotions.  Truth isn't feeling-based, but based on the Word of God.  Our salvation and growth are in Christ and understood by the Bible.

Guys Teen Conference

God blessed the Youth Group of Grace Bible Baptist Church recently with the opportunity to go on a Guys Teen Retreat.  With any great change in the church, the youth have always had a part in that change.  On February 9th and 10th, the Grace Youth Group went to New Windsor Conference Center for a time of growth and fun in Jesus Christ.

Christ was to be a focus point in all that was done and God truly blessed us with decisions.   There were many roadblocks to this conference coming about, but as it says in the Bible, if God be for us who can be against us.

Dr. Ernest Peterkin was our special speaker and after the sessions were over I would council young teens about their spiritual conditions.  Many students made decisions of rededication and one student even made a decision for salvation.  The Word of God is powerful.  "Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his ways? by taking heed thereto according to thy Word." Psalm 119:9

Fellowship was a major aspect of the conference.

 
It was a wonderful opportunity not only for the preachers to share, but also some of the teens in the Youth Group.  Here Chris shares about what God is doing presently in his life and what God's desire is for him in the future.

Between singing and preaching, we would often have a skit or two. Here is Coach Adrian and Josh  doing a skit called "The Worst Coach".  The funny thing about the skit is that it couldn't be farther from the truth.

When we were not being spiritually exercised, there was time for us to go to the Gym and play basketball, ping pong, and hockey.   The playing sometimes got intense, but God blessed us with no serious injuries.

As the conference came to an end, Dr. Johnson closed us in prayer asking God to seal all the decisions that were made that weekend.  God be the Glory for the Great things that happened that weekend.  Let the Revolution Begin.
