MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE
 

The Memorial Day Service on May 30th honored our servicemen and servicewomen.  U.S. military veterans from our congregation carried flags representing all branches of the American Armed Services and the conflicts in which the U.S. military participated.

Chester Washington, U. S. Navy veteran, announced the flags and flag bearers.
 

Dr. Eugene Pike, retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, and Pastor Earl M. Johnson, Jr., Korean War veteran, watch the flag ceremony commemorating Memorial Day.



Mr. James Johnson, U.S. Army Korean War veteran and brother to Pastor Johnson, represented those who fought in the Korean War.



Dr. Ernest Peterkin, U.S. Navy Vietnam War veteran, carried the U.S. flag representing Desert Storm and Desert Shield.
